Sorry, this has probably been bantered around before. The 05 Z has the TPS system and 37MM carb along with revised cam profiles. Anybody have one of these yet, or heard any stats on power improvement??? Are the 05's even out yet?

Hey, Ive had a white and blue 05 for like a month now, I love it, the power is great and suspension is better. Ive only put like a half hour on a 03 Z so I cant really compare it, but I love my Z its a great trail rider and would recommend it to anyone.

So how much extra horsepower do the new mods account for?

are the changes with the 05 drastic at all? I am looking to buy my first quad and have looked around and talked to a bunch of dealers and they all think the z400 is a great all around bike. I figure if i am putting out the money, and an 05 is only a 100 bucks more, why not?? as for just buying a quad, what is the best way to learn about owning one of them, i know a little bit about engines, but is it tough to take care of one of these quads? i am just trying to learn more about the whole deal, i moved out here from jersey and had friends that rode back home, and really want to get into it out here in phoenix. any tips or info you guys could give would be much appreciated.

Mucky and scottd, i noticed you both live in phoenix, i am in the scottsdale area and have stopped by metro motor sports, towne and country in glandale and also extreme suzuki or whatever on mcdowell, any other good dealerships i can look into and what is the best way to get the price down on a new 400?

Lots of questions but anything would help, thanks a lot.
