Default Painting the Motor

I am in the middle of rebuilding my quad. I have a 89 lt250r and Im not sure what to do with the motor. Is there special paint for aluminum and high heat parts like this... where could I find it and what is the name of it?

thanks for help.

I have used the PJ-1 brand of paints with good luck. We painted an LT500 engine with the Suzuki Blue and it came out GREAT! It is an aerosol rattle can and fairly inexpensive (about $5.00 a can). As far as radiator paint, I'm not 100% sure. Radiator shops use a different paint that I believe is thinner than most paint. Hope this helps.

you can get all kind of engine paint in lots of colors
and you can paint the radiator as long as you dont block the cooling fins
we do it all the time just make sure you primer it first
dont use primer on the fins of the radiator give it a lite coat of paint

they have paint thats called engine paint its made for high temps
and primer helps stick the paint to the metal. thats why cars are primered first
to help the paint from coming off. the metal you paint has to be clean
no oil or dirt
