I'm sure your quad is fast, and will win against some of the Zilla's in your neck of the wood's that have had trinity, duncan, paint scratch porting that does'nt flow air correctly, but in my neck of the wood's I'm confiedent my Zilla would get ya.Now the same goes for me,If I was to go to say to Glamis I'm confiedent that my Zilla would put up a good fight but I'm sure I would run into something faster unlike you that think's his banshee can win them ALL.Not knockin your ride,I like them too, just try not to over estimate your machine's ability.

aaron, I'm not sure ROG is going to do any more motor work. His new job is taking all of his free time. It's worth begging though for sure, he's a great machinist and turns out quality work.

WoW Dune!!

I'm surprised, you just endorsed a "puppy" builder dude. Thought I'd never see the day, wow.

I wish there was a shop that could reliably deliver what Tudors offers. Complete experienced service for your Zilla motor.

$2000.00 sounds like alot of money for that kind of work but if they can deliver it may be worth it. Tudors is half the price.

Hey Dune hows the buggy coming along?

Freak!

Hey Freak, Where you been hiding?
I'm not sure you can say I 'endorsed' duncan... just didn't bash then like I typically do to puppy shops... I'd have to say I've heard LESS bad publicity about them than some of the others... The $2K is ridiculous though.
I don't think the product Tudors offers is all that either... I don't see them making the big HP anyhow. Not to mention the bad pub they've received.

The buggy is done! or... is it? I roosted it a bunch this summer... it did great! But now, I'm cutting the rear suspension off to start over. Just not satisfied with how it is working.
If I can make the rear work as good as the front does, I'll be happy. I'm shooting for another 6" of travel in the rear (Looking for a true 24"), then it needs more power too (Seems like a common theme with me eh?)
I found an aluminum LS1 vette motor that will power it next year... 400+ HP = yahoo!

regards,

Addict,

Its been a while indeed. I've been buisy with my house and summer time. I've been here, just diddnt really get involved in any threads.
Great to hear your enjoying the buggy! Is it a day or night time toy? Im really chomping at the bit for a "woods" buggy, but I blew the toy budget on that 88 TRX. I couldnt resist. I really want a buggy for night time fun! I'm sure you will have yours
dialed in before long.

Decided to hang on to the Zilla. Need to go through the top end, and a bearing carrier. While I'm at it maybe a new carb too. Just gotts make time to do it.

Freak: glad you came to your senses and are keeping the Zill. LoL!
I absolutely love my buggy, and could ALMOST give up my ATV's... It's that good!
I'll bet I didn't ride 10 tanks of fuel thru my 500 this summer... Way different for little old me.

My buggy has enough lights on it to land a large aircraft, we've done both daytime and night time running.... Night time running can be very dangerous on the big dunes, even with great lighting.
Good luck with the Zuk!
