Hey I noticed something about my KQ that not a lot of others have mentioned. My fan is always running. Once the quad is warmed up and moving along the fan kicks in. I find this unusual because the average temp lately has been in the 50s. I have over 150 miles on the KQ now. I was thinking that after some time on the machine that it would calm down. Just seems strange to me. And before anyone asks...no I don't ride slow...like rock crawling and stuff. I guess the average speed on the KQ is around 30. No pulling either.

 

It could be a loose connection on the fan or the temp sensor or it could be a bad temp sensor.

Hopefully you find the problem and it is simple to fix.

in the SUZUKI KING thread MUDDY4LIFE said that when the ATV was new the fan ran alot, but i don't know since you have 150 miles on it. I think it could be a bad temp sensor.

I think MUDDY4LIFE was just saying that his is still running alot.

We have been riding alot in 70-80F temps and the fan comes on occasionally and goes off fairly quick. When driving 20+ MPH I don't remember it coming on very many times.

Mine runs more than I would expect too.

 

I have about 110 miles on mine now and it only runs occasionally now.
