Default What oil?

Hi there, new to the forum. Just bought a Z400 a couple of weeks ago and will be changing the oil soon. What do you guys use in your Zs.............thanks.

hi i use honda gn4 vary good oil. been useing it for like 8 months.....still running strong....

Use Amsoil 0W40 Four Stroke Motor Oil or Amsoil 10W40 Motorcycle Oil. Both oils rock. Better than 99% of the other oils out there.

Are they synthetic? The Amsoil?

I believe they all are Synthetics. I think they were one of the first, if not the first, to make a sythetic oil.

Yep BigDozer's right. Majority of Amsoil products are synthetic...they may have a few blends somewhere in the mix of the lubricants but it would be very few if so. Yes they were the first to engineer a synthetic oil for use in automobiles. Jets were using synthetic lubricants way before cars.
