I come off of a new 650cc Rincon from Honda. The Honda has leaky front DRUM style brakes, very poor engine braking,no front diff locker,no OVER-RIDE button,no adjustable suspension, and no real low range to speak of.
The Honda is a very dependable ATV and also a very good ride.I also like the tranny on the Rincon, but no low range sorta sucks.
So far,I DONT miss it a bit!
Except for the belt drive on my new KQ,I like everything about it more than the Rincon. Its much faster, has better traction, steers easier, and the EFI is a dream come true.
Time will soon tell about the belt?

What do you mean seat time before snowfall? I live in Alaska and I ride my Suzuki Vinson all year around. Some would say it's more fun to ride durring the winter then summer. Just last week there was 8 of use riding on a trail with 2 and a half feet of snow. I've got the 26" Mud Lites that are awesome but I heard the King has some okay tires. Who cares about snow just get to riding and enjoy your new quad.

It's funny, but we ride alot in the snow, that is on our 2wd sport machines...
The trick is to start the track with every snowfall, or just ride the snowmobile trails. We are doing this on private land, NY does not approve of atv's on the sled trails.
If it gets a little too soft, I take out my sled and break trail. Be warned at 40 or so on the trails, if your tire comes off track, the snow grabs like a vise, and we end up getting tossed, flipping the quads, but 99% of the time, you land in soft snow, so no injuries or damage to the machines. Worst that has happened so far has been the handlebars into the tank, gouging out some plastic, and bending the bars beyond repair, but what a blast.
Since this is my first 4WD machine, I have no idea of what it is like, but at least now I can back out of the deep stuff when I get off the track.
I would highly recommend winter play in the snow if you get the chance!
