my 450r is geared down 1 tooth in the front and i still hit 72.81 mph in the 1/8th mile to be exact, with the stock gearing i know it would do 78. and it pulls hard all the way til the rev limiter kicks on. the 450r is very mild bone stock but a simple HRC kit ($300) and its a complete different machine.

 

same with the cam mod for the YFZ. a stock YFZ vs a cam modded YFZ get DESTROYED. but the YFZ450 is very strong stock too

 

the HRC kit helps the 450r more than the cam mod helps the yfz. the stock 450r cam really holds it back, it benifits more from a cam than any other quad.

 

My buddie has a 450R with the HRC kit and it doesn't seem to be that fast but it is faster than a Z400 by far.

 

Are you sure, because I have never seen amy thing like that, when I was stock, I would beat those R's by a little but a win is a win, now that I have my slip-on, I'll put your HRC kit to shame!!!

 

my 450R will out run your yfz and your raptor. but i dont revolve everything around drag racing, if i wanted to go fast id just get a rail car with a blown hemi.
