Does anyone have any experience with the cam from sparks racing. They are pricey so I would like some feed back.

If i'm not mistaken the Z is double cam right? The sparks is to be the same as these both cams in performance.

I just installed both hotcams(got them for $225 shiped), and the DRZe base gasket and valve springs, and new rings. You wont need new springs if you dont get an aftermarket CDI, You might not even need them then. I plan on having a CDI by spring.

I didnt seem to gain or loose any low to mid range power. 3/4 throttle and up it revs faster and pulls harder. Not sure if it would be good for mx.

Yeah, both cams would not be good for mx. Just the intake cam gives more low end then the machine already has. But i did notice when i put both cams in i did loose a little low end. I would say it was noticable but then again so was the gain on mid to top . Dune riding or drag racing you would want the both cams . Any senerio were your going to be at high rpm's most the time get both cams, but if your at low rpms most of the time get the intake cam. Most after market cams all baisclly the same. Good luck on your choice.
