Default thinking of buing an eiger

I currently own two honda atvs' and I'm looking for a third. I was almost ready to buy a manual 350 rancher 4x4 when I happened upon an Eiger for the same price. Seems like a nice quad and engine is 50cc bigger. I don't read much about them on this site. Can anyone who owns one give me their opinion?

Just sitting on both was enough for me to rule out the Rancher. It feels too small after sitting on the Eiger.

I have on '04 Eiger. I really enjoy it. This is my 1st quad that I have owned but have riden the Rancher and the Vinson before. There are pics if you want to see it. I use it more for work than play. I have my with plow and winch on mine. However with all the work gear off of it is an awful lot of fun. Lots of tq and power. I would recommend it. I purchased mine with a lot of Suzuki incentives and out the door with 3.0 Warn winch, Warn plow, set of chains, aluminum ramps for truck and 4 year warranty it was $5950(this includes Tax and License). Hope this helps.

I have a 02 rancher 4x4 ES and I love it I could not have pick a better bike it is a perfect all around bike.It gose through the mud like not'en also is fast enough to get you there you need to go also is strong enough to pull and push all you need to do. trust me I tried it I pulled a 16 foot trail with 200 cinderblocks on it and it pulled it with no problem.

Buckweet,
There was a comparison ran in early '04 where the Eiger was picked the best in the 400ish class. It compared the Kawaski, Polaris, Eiger, artic cat and 1 other if I remember correctly. It was ATV World, March or April issue I believe. I bought mine before the article came out. I looked at all of them before I made my choice. Originally I liked the Honda for its reputation but they would not budge on price and the Rancher was $6100 No Tax, license or stuff like I got with my Eiger. Anyway I never really follow those article things much but it was nice reading about their findings. My Daughter saw the Mag in the store and saw the word Eiger on the cover.
