Default SELL/FIX?

I've got a tired stock 1986 LT250R that has a strong engine, cracked swing arm, rides okay.... Should I fix it (restore it) and use it for a sand bike, or sell it and get what I can for it?

My other option is to part the thing out on Ebay... is that a good idea?
