Default 2005 King Quad 700 Price

I know this has been posted a lot. But does this deal look good? If not, I would like suggestions as to where I can negotiate further...

Here is the deal on the table:

6810 for the quad
175 for the 2.5 winch and mounting plate
295 for freight
600 for the 4 yr extended warranty
45 a dealer fee
475 sales tax

The total out the door is $8400.00

Compared to what others are saying they are paying out the door, I don't feel comfortable with this price. I don't mind paying a little more for a solid dealer, or because I am in a low volume area but the difference just seems too much.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Sorry, I would run from that. Before figuring in taxes you should find a KQ with the winch for about 6,800 out the door. Out the door means the price you pay to drive it home. If your dealer is trying to tack on add ons such as freight, etc...they are only trying to confuse you. You can purchase an extended warranty on ebay or thru your dealer for 450-500. Call a dealer and tell them you want there best out the door price.

Since you are within a reasonable driving distance to Troy, New York check out Troy city garage on the net. I bet it will save you at least 900.00 not including sale tax. which you would have to deal with back in CT.

add $215 to Troy City's price for set up & freight... If you want the warn winch, its an additional $500, as they use the winch money to discount the quad.

This was the quote I got from the dealer, but the $500 does include the mount, so low $400's...

I don't disagree what the dealer told you......Just telling you what he really "paid" for it
