Default getting another racer

I'm going to be picking up an 85/85 racer tonight... only 2 more hours. Best part of all is the price... only $300! Even if its not worth fixing i can get twice that for the parts alone. Man i wish deals like this came around more often!

Default getting another racer

well i got the entire thing all in peices unloaded from the blazer last night. Finally had a chance to look at it and decided it would be better off being sold for parts. Its almost complete but its gonna cost too much green for me to complete 2 racer projects at this point in my life.

I do however feel bad for the original owner. This thing was hardly used before a lower connecting rod bearing failure. The cylinder head isn't completly covered with carbon and has no pits or dings whatsoever. The cylinder is either on the first or second bore( i have a shizzy plastic caliper at home that is reading 70.17mm). And if you could believe this the stock pipe has NO rust. Even more amazing the air box has no melt through holes or distortion.

This thing is gonna be a gold mine on ebay but i'm not going to start listing parts for a week so PM me if anyone is interested.
