Well I weigh 140 and the dvx/z/kfx400 is the easiest to ride of most sport quads. It has great useable power and handles good on the trails.

i have had my z400 for 6 months and have yet to put air in them since i bought the bike. they do not puncture easy at all. plus i ride on some pretty thorny terrain.

It takes pretty much an ugly path to puncture your tire, like in a baja race. But that could be fixed really fast for a dollar so who cares. And about your friend, does he own a DVX? Because it seems he has no knowledge, what is he meaning it's nearly impossible to control the clucth, is he meaning it's nearly impossible to control the quad because that is possible, not hard a t all. As for you getting one of those 400's, it's a good choice for a beginner, you wont get bored, and they are easy to maunevar*.
