rebuild my LT engine? I dont think a top end rebuild will do the trick after the overheating so I might have to get it completely re-done. Any one still work on LT engines?

You sure a top-end isn't going to do it? All that you could have done overheating is warped the head, possibly upper deck of cylinder, and fried the piston and rings. BTW, interested in some trades?

I just dont want to risk it. The bottom end might be ok but I dont to give it a new top and end later have my bottom end go out and ruin everything. The piston is all scratched up and so it the sleeve, the head looks like it was not new like the previous owner had told me. He also had told me that he had the entire engine rebuilt so I dont know if he was lying about that too. I'll trade you the LT for some money Right now the plan is to sell it and buy a new raptor, cant go wrong with a brand new quad.

HaHa. That'd only be like a $3000 dollar loss on your part, but I can get you some really good HomeBrew that'd make up for it

OK, you're probably right. I kinda had that happen to me. I replaced the-top end, and aparently didn't put the C-Clips that hold the piston on the pin into their little recess, and one popped out, scratched the hell outta my piston and sleeve(completely lost compression), knicked up the head and destroyed my lower rod bearing. $0.25 part is going to cost me $500. Oh well, live and learn I guess. So anyway, any Suzuki dealer will do the repair work for you. It just might take a few 3, 4, 5, months and $900 before you get the bike back.
