Will a 87 head fit a 86 model???
an 86 has a stock bore size of 70mm while a 87 has a stock bore size of 67mm. So even if they would bolt up your compression would change and your squish would be way off... may cuase detenation but i never tried it so i couldn't tell you. Also i'm not sure if the water passeges would line up correctly and that might lead to overheating.
