Default which way do i turn the nut.

I bent a tie rod and am trying to get the jam nut of the inboard side and can figure out which way to turn the nut. I know one side is normal but is the other side backwards do i turn that side clock ways or counter clock ways.
Any help would be great.
I dont want to be tightening when i am trying to loosen.

i dont thing we can really tell you wich one is RHT and LHT, it all depends on wich one you have where. you left hand thread can be on the steering stem or it can be on your spindle, there is no way for us to tell.
i just normally look a the threads and see if they are RHT or LHT, i can tell wich way i have to turn a nut on them to get it on and off.
