Default New tires for the King

For those of you running different tires, what size do you recommend?

I am thinking a little bigger, either 26" or 27", and then should I go with 10"/12" or 9"/10" widths for easier steering?

Probably going with the mud lites, just wondering how everyone was doing with the tires.

Thanks in advance,
Eric

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!!!!!

I just purchased a set of mudlites and itp c-series type 6 rims.. Exellent combo for this machine. I went with 26 x 10's in the front and 12 in the back. It steers pretty good but i wish i went with the 9's in the front..
i would go with 26x9x12 in the front and 26x12x12 in the rear.. your gonna love them. I took some quick pics for you ....so you can have an idea what they will look like.

Nice rims ZigZilla. How much do they weigh over the stock?

AKMUDMAN,

Have you been here in AK long? Have you checked out the AK ATV club yet? www.arctictrails.net

I'm taking the Vinson out tomorrow to Jim Creek if you are interested. We should have some more rides coming up soon too.

Go ahead and register at our site and you can see when we are going out. Basicly if someone is going to do a run they post it and others reply back if they are coming or not. During the summer we have anywhere from 8 to 15 guys doing a ride and during the winter it's been runing about 5 to 8. We range anywhere from 14 to 60 years of age. We go all over but it's mainly Jim Creek with all the snow up north. It's a great bunch of guys. We normally stop mid trial and have a barbque with all the fixings to BS a little bit before finishing. We don't ride at a good pace not to fast or to slow it's just right for my liking, besides you can always break away and do your own thing if you want. In any case we have a great time. I love to ride but as you know if you go alone and get into trouble it could be a VERY long walk out of some of these places and that's not a walk I want to do with hungry bears...LOL. Anyway I'm 30.
