Default Fuel **** Assy - Vinson

Took my machine in for a regular maintenance and they told me I needed a new Fuel **** Assy. It was running fine when I brought it in but I did roll it the same day... The dealership is telling me the part is on back order and it has already been three weeks and I'm missing a lot of riding time and I've already took off time from work which I thought I'd be using it for riding. What should I do? Is there a place I could look for this on line or will they tell me the same thing, "It's on back order".

i wonder if a Pro-Design one for a Z 400 is the same...they look similar and the gas caps are interchangeable

get your bike back, and then go to ronnies.com, ask for dave he will be able to get it for you, he is a super nice guy to deal with.

when you call and ask for dave ask him if he can do anything on the shipping, and he will. shipping on one of my items was like 45 bucks, he only made me pay 10$.

I haven't checked Ronnies yet but I've talked with many other places and they are all telling me that Suzuki has them on back order but should be ready to ship in January. I'll check with Ronnies tomorrow. Thanks.

v581,

I called the dealer today and it's the same story so I gave Ronnie's a call they said they would ship out tonight. I should have it here by Thursday. If all goes well I'll be back riding this weekend. Living in Alaska kind of sucks when it comes to shipping but I'll live. Thanks again.

no problem. well i once had a problem with ronnies sending me the wrong part, from Japan suzuki- so its not their fault i told dave that i would direct all the parts and businessus his way, being they get a percent, and it is good to deal with someone who is so reputable, and just nice to deal with.

glad you are gettin your parts.
