He asks 3800 cdn nego. so I could have it for maybe 2700 us. Around here its a pretty good deal, it seems to be very clean.

I had a 300ex, 400ex, now I want Power...

what do you think about this ? or should I go with the 250 ?
if I go see it, what should for ? (I'm used to look bearings and looses parts etc... but is there something specific to check on the zilla?)

if its in good shape it sounds like a good deal.the one thing to really check is for crankbearing boss play.take the stator cover off,grasp the flywheel with a firm grip and apply an up and down shaking type motion to it.if you can feel any play on the end of the crankshaft its gonna have to be torn apart and new bosses and bearings put in.that job not including tear down labor runs around 4 to 5 hundred american$ good luck i hope its tight it is a fun animal to own.

damannz I would take it for sure if I lived in massachusetts, but I have to do 700 miles to pick it up... thats 12 hours.
Time isnt really a problem but it costs $$$ for gas, hotel, etc.. + 200$ customs, +15% tax...
I can do it, but it has to worth it. Do you think he could lower to around 2000$ ? When I bought my cr250 the guy was asking 2500 and I had it for 2100... But in the US I dont know how it works.

Now I'm looking at one located in maine... I MAY be able to have it for 2000...
Well, give me the number, if I cant get the one in maine, I'll go for it
