Default I need some jetting help on my Z 400 pleeeeeze

Just installed the Sparks pipe filter and jet...It called for a Dyno jet 150 but it bogged real bad at the top of each gear so I backed it down to a dj 146 but now it's to lean...should I put the 150 back in and move my needle instead?I'm on the 3rd clip

Man I had the same problem with my 03 Z400. I took it to the local dealer and they could not get it right. Do yourself a favor and order a Dial-A-Jet from Thunder Products. The web site is WWW.Thunderproducts.com. I can't explain exactly how it works because it would take forever but I can tell you that it is very easy to install and works great. My quad has never ran so good. The technical help from Thunder products is top rate. The Dial-a-jet only cost me 70.00 and it was bargin. It was very refreshing to get something that actually works like it is supposed to. Hope this helps, Troy.
