Anyone have these things? LT250R heel guards
Been looking around ebay and found these heel guards/foot cages. They look cool but Ive never seen them before. Albaaction has one side for $87, looks like a good deal. Do these fit other years?

Those came stock on the 91's,im not sure if they were on other years but i had them on my 91.theyre not as good as nerf's in my opinion because if your foot slips off the front of the peg there's still nothing there. 80 something dollars each seems high to me but you know how dealers are when it comes to stock items. take care

Shady, I bet those are the ones I bought! I love them.
Anyways, I put them on a '86. They bolt right on to all years footpegs but you will have to make a bracket on the right side and mount the left side directly to the frame. I found another mounting point for the left side afterwards that I would have to make another bracket for, but for the time being I just used a pipe clamp. Work REALLY well. Kinda heavy though.
I'll be making the other bracket soon. I bought an extra long piece of metal and have plenty left.

It's amazing how things fly around here. I sold those heel guards to Shady a while ago. I originally got them off ebay also.
Glad we can help each other out.
I have a set of guards on the 87 and they work great. I no longer run over my foot when jumping.
