Thinking about getting an LTZ250
if you want to do mx with a quad then do not get this one. this is a pretty good entry level atv. it is excellent in the trails. they are quick but there are quiker 250s out there. Quadsport is right i can wheelie my z250 almost as long as my Z400 which is until i run out of room.

Mrbusa i have one of each because i ride the 400 and my dad or mom (who ever comes with me) rides the 250. i also use the 250 just to ride around my neighborhood since it is quieter than my 400. as for it comparing to a honda 400 racing quad it wont. on the trails is where the Z250 really shines. with 6 inches of travel you arent going off any really big jumps unless you have a smooth landing.

Thinking about getting an LTZ250

We have a Z250 and it is probably the best all-around quad in terms of price, trail riding, woods riding, small jumps, carving corners, and easily keeping up with faster utility machines. Suzuki got everything right on this one, but don't expect the build quality of a Yamaha.
About the only drawback is ground clearance at the rear diff. The smaller sport-quad tires on the back will get hung up in mud and snow.
The speed is about right and, yes, they like to wheelie. Track riding is out of the question.
A used 400 sport bike should be about the same price as a new z250. There is no doubt that I would take the 250 over someone's beat-up 400 sport quad any day.
I have a hitch that I bolted up to the swing-arm and pull a trailer that when loaded weighs about 300-400 pounds. The Suzi easily pulls it. I built the hitch myself in about 2 hours.
Hope this answers all your questions.
