ofcourse! when you put a pipe on it it flows more air, so it needs more fuel to! you can severly damange engine internalls if you dont re-jet. you also wont notice a performance gain untill you do.

Better to rejet or put the old pipe back on before you ride. Otherwise you might be looking at a pretty hefty repair bill.

I wouldn't try it! That would be awful to risk it and the piston melt! I got an hmf full system for my z that came with the recommended main jet, so I bet their's a website you could find a size on. Since it's a slip on,I,d just stick the stocker back on for tomorrow and pursue the problem when you get back. Play it safe. Also I notice your from evansville(about three hours south of me), Is thier any good places to ride down their? I live around franklin/shelbyville area. My son and I have been to attica and haspin acres, looking for a good spot to check out wene the weather breaks.

yes it will hurt the motor if you dont rejet. it will run lean and burn valves and piston
unless you have lots of money to spend for repairs then go ahead and ride it and
hope you dont have a meltdown

I love how the people on here talk like a four stroke in a quad is from a different dimension than an engine in a truck/car/jeep/dune buggy/lawn mower/(any other four stroke in this universe).
Is this one of those joke threads? You know, where someone asks a silly question then everyone dogs them with asinine answers?
If so, then never mind.

If they made a fatty pipe for your weedeater, wouldn't you have concerns about jetting???????
