Default eiger rejeting

has anyone rejeted their eiger themselves? i jst ordered a k&n jet kit and am going to do it myself. how hard is it? my first atv, should i go ahead and do it? i have the $70 repair manual the dealers have and i know the jet kit comes with instructions. what do ya'll think?

It's really simple. Between your manual and the instructions you should be set. And of course if for some reason you do get lost, you can always post here.

yes easy...i just took out my baffle and now can do wheelies from 1st and 2nd gear...lol...that surprised how much it woke the machine up...now'll i'll have to get some shocks and tires...lol

I am considering ordering a jet kit and K&N for my 02 Eiger. Where did you order yours?

It is a very easy mod. Take your time and watch what you remove you will have no problems.

What difference did this mod make. I have ordered a jet kit and K@N for my LTZ250 but people seem to be saying that there will be no performance improvement.

I have an auto with 26" mudlites. With the clutch kit and the k&n kit it runs better than before. More power and speed.

not to rob be thread...but does anyone have a Moose lift on their Eiger...I ordered one and was wondering if there is anything I should know about them...Thanks

I know a lift kit puts extra stress on yer CV joints and u-joints and tie-rod ends.

yeah..I expect that but the joints really aren't at very much of an angle now...i don't plan on running bigger tires...so i figure it should be ok with a lift...just wondering...thanks
