i'm trying to fix my old 86 lt250r for my son. 1st problem is a bent axle. i found a guy with an 88 axle/swingarm ***'y could i swap the whole thing? if not where's my best bet to get a used axle? i need other parts also, but major one's first. thanks

 

I've heard that everything llines up, but I wouldn't go through the risk or effort just to replace the axle. For starters 86's & 88's have different hub splines and wheel bolt patterns. Used axles come up on ebay all the time.
