wheelie on a z400

Default wheelie on a z400

hey guys i have a z400 and my friend has a pred when he does wheelies he doesnt use the clutch and he said that it wont hurt the transmission is he right

i can get my Z400 to wheelie in third gear without the clutch. i dont think it hurts your transmission if you dump the clutch.

I think your saying he shifts without the clutch, am I right?
IMO, the clutch is there for a reason.

ive only done a wheelie on it a couple of times and i can get it into 5th gear and ride it

When i ride wheelies i never use the clutch. I have been doing them this way for almost a year with no problems. It shifts fine without the clutch just make sure you let off the gas all the way.

I would worry more about the motor than the clucth. you shouldent ride alot with the motor on that angle It might not got oil where it needs it, but I might be wrong.

Is there a special way to do a wheelie thouh. WHats the best way? Is it hard cuz everytime i try to do one when it comes up i get scared i might flip it! Will The grab bar save me from falling back ? Thx So how do i have to be positioned etc~!
