Default Suggestions on shock rebuild

I'm in the process of completely redoing my suspension on my LT, and I'm just going to have my rear shock rebuilt since a new one is like 800 bucks. Where's a good place to send it off to have it rebuilt?

if you need a new piston ring in the shock, you might as well just send it off and get it revalved...i tried to get mine rebuilt at a local dealer and they wanted 230 just to rebuild it, then they said they couldnt get the piston ring. I called works and they charged me 280 i believe to get a compelete revavle/rebuild. Although i think i got a discount because i sent the shock to them in pieces. When i get the shock i will tell you how everything looks and what my bill was. Set it up for a 185 lb rider, intermediate mx and fast trails. I would look into getting the full revalve, you would be much happier.

Hey your not to far from where I live, LOL. What dealer did you deal with, Southern Indiana Honda? I haven't went to River City Honda here in Owensboro, usually there about 2 or 3 times more when it come to there parts and service, I usually use them as a last resort. Anyway let me know how it comes out!
