250R jetting question

Default 250R jetting question

hey guys, i will be going to the oregon dunes next month, just wondering what i should rejet my carb to be for sea level. i am at 3500 feet right now. i am asking the same question on the honda forums because i also have a 400EX and am not sure what quad i will be taking. thanks guys!

i get turned around when comes to jetting but this page usually helps me the most its pretty close. btw scroll to bottom says something bout altitude hope this helps..

you might be fine the way you are but if you have to do anything is go fatter more fuel. this is talking about the 2 stroke.

I would sugest going up 2 hole sizes for 3500'.

Here's another good carb article. I would definitely richin the main if going from 3500 to sea level.
