Default Changing sprokets

i'm going from a 22" tire to a 25" tire, so will a change from a 41 tooth rear sproket to a 44 tooth sproket make a dfference? would this be an ok thing to do. I'm in the tire business, so i'm just thinking along the same lines as re-gearing for taller truck tires. Thanks for any info.

That sounds about right. Typically 1" of tire diameter is the same as 1 tooth on the rear sprocket. So you should be back to about the same gearing by going up 3 teeth on the rear.

If you are going from a 22" tire to a 25" tire the percentage of change is 113%. If you multiply that by your 41 tooth rear sprocket you get 46.33.
For a tire size change with the least amount of performance difference from your current set up go with 46 tooth.

At least thats what the math says.
