Whats New on a 2005 vinson Versus a 2004
#1
I'm having some problems with my vinson i love the bike but belt and pulleys related problems r convincing me to trade in for a new one just tired of taking it to de "steelership"
It as changed the belt and the inside front pulley it was completley worned out in the center it just rotated frelly
they changed the inside pulley the belt and now it makes a low grindig sound when i ride it normaly, riding hard i cant hear it because of the hmf pipe LOL, the dealler said it might be toching the belt case is this possible?
if any one can help me with this would apreciate.
Or if some one as a complete set of instructions to fine tune the belt
now does anyone knows the diference between the 2004 and the 2005 models
thanks in advance

The only difference between the 04 and 05 is on the graphics of the "Vinson" sticker on the gas tank. At least thats what the dealer told me when I asked him. I also asked the mechanic when I talked to him, he said the same thing.

I believe the other change to the 2005 Vinson was a different throttle that makes it an easier pull , making it less tiring on the thumb on long drives.

In ATV Magazine buyers' guide 2005 page 36. It states that the 2005 Vinson as well as most new Suzuki models, have a new throttle pulley system. It was added to provide lighter throttle lever operation that results in quicker engine response. Other than the throttle, the Vinson's welcome a special limited edition with black bodywork, silver racks and machined\polished cast aluminum wheels.
