Can anyone tell me if/where there is a terminal or junction box where I can wire in a thumb warmer on my vinson. I need it to be switched with the key( so I don't leave the warmer on and kill the battery) and to be able to handle the current of the warmer, I checked the 12v accessory outlet and its not heavy enough.

 

i have a 2003 vinson and i taped into the acc. plug with my hand warmers. 12v outlet is 15 amp i think.

 

your safest bet is to wire the warmer through a solenoid to the battery, with the solenoid switched on by the key. (your key would switch on the solenoid and thus the warmers, which would be powered off the battery.
