i just got a z400 last june and i thinking about selling it and getting a raptor or a yfz450 which one do u guys think would be a better one to have?

What type of riding do you do? I'd rather put some money into my Z than sell it for either of those. I'm not comfortable on a YFZ, and I'd have to put money into the Raptor's handling to make it handle like the Z. For acceleration and trail applications, I think the YFZ would be better. In straight line, top end applications, the Raptor would be better. I still say mod the Z.

i cant tell you which one is better then the other, but i can tell you the bombardier ds 650 baja x is better then both [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

lol son, look at my pictures(2 of them more to come), see me dragging up at armagosa..that guy is on a yfz 450, and he lost..he had alot of features on it too, so dont come crying to me about weight, i know for ever 7 pounds it takes one horsepower away, but also heres a little info....its 90 % rider and 10 % bike..so only one can make it happen is you.

 

i do mostly woods and field ridding

 

my freind nate has a ds 650 and has raced raptors yfzs predators just about evrything the only thing that beat him was a banshee and the banshee has about $2000 into it and it couldnt beat the ds until he changed the sprockets and the ds was stock

 

I had a Raptor, Nice machine tons of power. I would go for the Raptor. Ds650 is to big IMO.
