How do you put back the damn swing arm !!!
#1
Hey !
Me and my friend spend all the day on that zilla swing arm.. but we CANT put it back !!!
There is always someting that doesent fit or something that has to be fitted before another.
In witch order should I put the bolts ??
there is 5 bolts: 2 on the shock + 2 on the linkeage (3 but one is on the shock) + the swing arm/frame bolt. We didn't unscrewed the middle bolt of the linkeage (BTW whats the use of that center bolt .. the 3 holes?????)
We placed every part in every angle possible..
the best we tried was to put the bottom shock bolt, then the frame/linkeage bolt BUT THE &%$@*&?$ SWING ARM IS IN THE WAY, if we put this one first, couldn't put the shock..
we need your help guys !!!
thanks in advance.

Try looking on www.ronnies.com or on www.bikebandit.com look on thier parts pictures,it should have a diagram of how it goes together,or just buy a manual, they worth their weight in gold

send me your e-mail address and i will send you a pic. the manuel says to install the cushon lever on the frame first then swingarm then shock. if the bearing in the cushon lever is in the wrong spot it could give you trouble.

I had the same problem then i got it put back together and was so happy. I went to ride it and felt like i was sitting on top of a horse becuase i ajusted the height with that spinning thing in the shock linkage. Ride height or whatever its called. boy was I happy to take the whole thing appart again to change it lol. and all just to put a TMdesigns chain slider on

Yeah when I bought mine it had no slider on it at all and the chain was starting to eat away at the swingarm. My buddy was waiting for me to go ride so i finally got it done and then it was like a teeter totter. On top of that we went riding and the chain fell off and got stuck between the frame and the shifter (3 layers). One of the chain ajuster bolts was stripped so the chain didnt stay tight. I had to take it in and have the hole welded and re-tapped anyways i could have had the guy do the chain guard for like 10 more bucks lol. I had him fix the ride height for me while it was there too. Theres always somthing else that could be fixed on these things but when they are running its so worth it. My engine was running great, i got all the swingarm stuff fixed, replaced the stripped carb, straitened the twisted frame, then it starts leaking gearcase oil. I get that fixed and finally get new tires to replace the burnt ones it came with and on a nice day I go to take it for an afternoon ride.... The header is cracked right by the frame mount for it (just before the midpipe). Now I have to get that welded. haha
