The FST 265 kit sounds like just the thing I need to give my zuk that extra umph. But the oil cooler would be a must. The extra heat generated from the upgrade will need to go somewhere.

Hah, you think I give two sh!&s about calculating the bore size of my ATV? I told you already that I didn't do it myself and I just guessed the size of the piston. You don't have to be an a$$hole about it. All I try to do is talk to this kid about something and a dumbass like you has to pick me off to look smart. Does it help your self-esteem or something? What class are you taking? oh like Pre-Algebra? Lets do some calculus. Now, now, what's the Integral of x^2-2x-2/x^3-1 dx? Tell me when you have an answer. Get the picture? This an Atv forum where people are supposed to have fun and get help. So sue me. Go screw someone else.

Ok your both in the wrong

1) semms you didnt have to be sarcastic in your response you could have not made it so demeaning to stuff

2) stuff although he was a jerk about it you were wrong and if he wasnt sarcastic in telling you you were wrong i would hope you wouldnt have flipped about it like that.

thats the #1 reason i dont frequent this forum as much-- all people do is itch and moan, and turn it into a pissing match, and the other people at other forums are right, i used to stick up for the ppl here , but there are a (select few) that i will ALWAYS stick up for, but now i realized that this forum just turns to fighting rather then clean info.....

p.s other forums let us curse, i think it makes people feel better even if they dont do it....

calm down stuff. semms probally just wanted to get something off his chest so he took it out on you dont take it personal. Figure this one out guys 72(bore)X67(stroke) . Lt230sracer I would run a 39 in the back but if all but if you want a little more 13 39 is a good setup also

Well I guess if everyone is done making fun of me I would like to say that I am sorry that I blew up like that. I've cooled down. I was already having a really bad day. I guess it happens. I realize this isn't a Jerry Springer forum. No hard feelings. I'm just saying it like it is. Peace.

Stuff, sorry about your bad day. I don't think anyone was making fun of you. We've all been corrected on these forums before (including me). The reason people can't just bore out a cylinder to get whatever cc's they want is because the stock steel sleeve is too thin. Instead, a machinest has to take out the old sleeve, bore out the aluminum block, and install a larger steel sleeve. (Hence, big bore kit). If you already knew this, I don't mean to talk down to you. If you didn't know this, well everyone's got to learn somewhere.

BTW, To answer you calculus question, assuming there weren't supposed to be any parenthesis any where, the antiderivative is (x^3)/3 - x^2 + 1/(x^2) - x.

To answer semms homework question, you need a bore of 68.927mm with a 67mm stroke to have a 250.

To answer LT230Sracer's original question, your tranny will be fine. As for a cam, ask FST what works best with their kit. They can probably regrind your original sport cam (assuming it's in good shape). Try a 38 tooth rear sprocket. (If you jump up a tooth in the front, there isn't much clearance between the engine case and you have to get rid of the stock chain guard.) Also, even though you already have a jet kit, you may have to jet even bigger once you have a bigger cam.

Hope this helps.
