2005 z400 what octane to use?

I dont have have my Z yet but what gas do you use. Thanks

2005 z400 what octane to use?

I'm running 89, but last weekend someone I rode with told me he noticed a difference with 93 octane. I don't know how true this is though. I'm sure someone else will chime in.

Run what they call for. I think they say 87, and unless you have a high compression piston in it or timing changes 87 is all you need. And no, putting premium or race gas in it wont make it faster.

I have to run 92 or higher. when i'm at the dunes I run 105

the tech guy at the shop told me to run 93 in all quads........

I run 93 in mine. I rn 87 in my honda. You should go by what the manual says.
