You bring water to a boil and drop in the boot for 3 minutes to soften it up. then wearing gloves slip the carb on the boot. Let it sit for a couple of days and then it will be streached for good.

I use a rad valve and was able to buy the bigger boot. I aslo heard you can do the warm water trick but I have seen them fall off after big jump. I hear best thing you can do is get boot of lt500 that matches your year as they had 38mm on them stock and they take same boot.Just a thought.

Thanks for the tips, It got pretty nasty in the garage for a few minutes last night, Iam going to try the water thing, while I look into the lt 500 boot, I know the last year for the Zilla was in 89, do you think it will fit my 92 lt 250r???
