Default Jetting questions

I got a couple quick q's on jetting. First and foremost, do you need a whole kit to do this or can you just buy the indiviual jets only?? Also i saw the stock was 122, what are you guys running and what results are you getting from this?? My cities elevation is 800', would this affect anything??? Also, i have only seen Dynojet kits, are there other brands. Thanks again for any help

Default Jetting questions

Many folks have simply replaced the main jet with anything from 126 to 135 for only a few $. some have also added a washer under the needle jet to raise/richen. To get a needle jet that's adjustable (slotted with e clip) I believe you have to buy a kit. I bought my jet kit from Rocky MTn ATV for around $45 as well as a K&N filter. The jet #s are different so you can't compare to the OEM #s. Another member of this board installed a clutch kit in his auto. Depends on what you want your quad to do.

I would probably just do the main jet. Is there any special tools needed to do this??? Is it just in the float bowl on the bottom of the carb??? Thanks for the info so far
