Factory manual calls for it but then again, only if you have removed any of the water pump components. Run it in two LT250's and my 500. Never over heated or have experienced clogged lines.

think about it, what would keep the stuff from sealing your radiator? its not like it has a brain and knows what to and what not to seal

It is simply what the shop manual states. If you choose not to follow the manufactures recomendations, that's your decision. I do not have an opinion on whether the stop leak is good or not. I have simplly followed the manual on the past four rebuilds.

Go figure?

Bars leak also lubricates the system and helps keep the seals healthy.

1) Buy and thoroughly read the service manual.

2) Research the effects of coolant system anti-leak products.

After doing these two things, please tell me why Bars leak should not be used in the Quadzilla. Anybody who thinks that Bars leak will cause damage to a coolant system obviously is basing his/her opinion on mere speculation and not fact.

Does your blood clot without being introduced to the atmosphere? If so, you have bigger problems to worry about than the status of your coolant system

does anyone know what average coolant temps should be? like what would be to hot? and where should the temp guage be installed,i would put it on wichever line has the coolant flowing "from" the engine,so youll have more of an idea what the actual engine temp is,instead of the cooled liquid coming from the radiator

OOOO so thats whats wrong with fords !!

the coolant circulates form the head >radiator >waterpump> head
so place the gauge on the top hose. im not shure on the operating temp.

Usually 190+ motor is getting too hot.
I have my temp gauge for digatron mounted on hose going to waterpump.

the fluid flows in at the top of the head and out by the water pump right??

and I dont know about that radiator clogging stuff but the shop manual also tells you to run your quadzilla at 20:1. I know I run at 36:1 with no problems which would be against the manual. what percentage of you run 20:1?
