Well, since its your first quad, I would suggest the z250 simply because it is an autoclutch. It is a 4-stroke and requires almost no maitnence except for changing the oil, oil filter, and air filter. It has electric start which the blaster doesn't. You might be too small for a blaster any whey, how big are you?

technicly their both "kids" bike, their both beginer bikes. I would pick the blaster because of the manual 6-speed, so its fun to ride. the blaster also has alot of modifications you can do to it in the future to be a very quick machine. good luck both great choices.

I like reverse. Its handy if say you get stuck in the mud or something and have to back out. Without reverse, youll be wading in the mud and trying to push and pull and be slipping around. They both do really good in the woods as long as your not riding with and bigger machines, you should be able to keep up in everything but the long straights.

id go with like a 300ex warrior or raptor 350 if i was you because the blaster is too small and i think u would get tired of the z. but between the 2 i would go with the z just cause it fits you better but the blaster is faster.

z250 has pretty high ground clearence under the rear end for being a sport model. The blaster doesnt.
Blaster has much more chances for aftermarket mods and becoming a very fast bike, z250 doesnt.
z250 is much more cut out for trail riding than the blaster, just because it's auto and based off of a utility bike.
The Z will be more reliable and less maintenence in the long run, but you'll probably have fun on either bike. Go to the dealer and sit on them and see which fits better.
