Default Does adding a winch affect the steering on a King Quad?

I really like the easy steering of the new King Quad? I would like to know if adding a winch to the front affect the steering in a negative way.

Not that I noticed... the winch was hard to tell it was on there, but the big tires did take away in some areas and added in others...

I can't imagine that having the winch installed would affect the steering. Yes, there is a cable that is threaded up through the handle bars but, what esle would there be? i will say this, This machine has the most responsive steering of ANY machine I have ridden. For this reason, I am looking to a new set of tires for more rugged terrain riding.

I think the question about affecting the steering has to do with the added weight and not the wire to the switch. I have one KQ w/Warn Winch and one without. I have not noticed a difference but I am sure there is a slight difference. I do have the spring load adjusted tighter on the one with. I hope this helps! Have Fun!
