The curse is over! And I don't mean the "Curse of the Great Bambino," I'm talking about the percieved curse of Suzuki. It ended tonight (Saturday) in Houston when Ricky Carmichael captured his fourth AMA 250 Supercross championship, ending a twenty-four year winless streak for Suzuki. RC finished third for his fifteenth straight podium finish of the season, including seven wins. Next weekend in Vegas he has the chance to get both his sixteenth podium and eighth win. Suzuki's last 250 Supercross championship was won by Mark Barnett in 1981. With tonight's results, RC racked up his 12th AMA championship since he turned pro in 1997.

that's good for Suzuki...they got the AMA champs and the ATVA champs...and the Superbike champ...sounds like Suzuki is a triple threat...i am sure this is stuff i am forgetting too...i just dont' like Carmichael...that hair and he rode a honda...but oh well
