Put some renthal bars on my 05 z400 and when I turn them to the left it pulls my choke cable tight and kills the engine or bogs it down real bad cause they're wider than the stock bars. Anyone had this problem?? Also did anyone custom mount their key and indicator lights instead of just let them hang? Need some ideas on that, but mainly the choke situation is really pissin me off. yeah the choke is a problem if you just put shorter grips on...i'd just slid the whole switch/choke thing over till it stops killling...i donno why suzuki just don't make them longer anyway

 

Well wouldn't that mean that you have to slide the clutch lever over also? Wouldn't that be a problem with the lever lining up with the handle grip?

 

if the lever is on the right side of the choke and there is no room for it to slide without moving the lever...then yeah you'd have to move it....you could always just get rid of them controls and put switches on the plastic and a kill switch up by the grips....it looks much cleaner like that
