Default Newbie is confused???

Good lord, I bought two of the these animals (KQ's) and all the talk of the reverse has given me the old internet syndrome (listening to rumors).

What is the 5yr warranty, do I have it, what does it cover?

My machines were purchased two weeks ago and had just arived at the dealer the week before. Are they updated?

Shed some light please, I am tired of reading and reading and reading to find something to believe here.

Thanks
Dub

All '05 King Quads carry an additional 5 year warrantee against possible reverse gear failure. The rest of the bike is covered by the regular 6-month warrantee. Take a look at your VIN #. If the number is at or above 52115956 then you have the bearing upgrade. It doesn't matter if youhave the original bushing or the new bearing, you still get the extra warrantee. In addition, all '05 KQ's should have an updated ECM - since you just bought your bikes, you should already have the new ECM as this "fix" has been around for a while now.

You are about as well protected as you can be - go ride.
