I think Trailguide must be a college professor studing peoples reaction to verbal attacks on something dear to them. One day I expect to read his paper in some science journal.

I have worked with both business units of Suzuki (Sales engineer) and they are not the same at all. Not enough close... in fact, as discussed above, GM is basically purchasing and doing the engineering for GM, not all of it but most of it. I also think that Suzuki will make a pretty good improvement in the quality of the vechiles- as I have seen the improvements being made slowly first hand.

By the way- working with Suzuki, Yamaha, Polaris, AC.... is much more fun than working with GM, Ford DCX, Toyota....

Also wanted to point out that these surveys are, well lets just say strange. For example, there are vehicles made in the same plants in JVs with say GM and Toyota and consistently Toyota will rate higher in the JD power and consumer report surveys. They are the same vehicles, running down the same line and getting different badges... STRANGE...
