Default other a-arms on a quadracer

Ive established that 400 ex shocks are a massive inprovement and bolt right up to the quadracer.
Has anyone been able to fit up a set of a-arms to the quadracer?
400ex? z400? maybe somthing even more exotic of a fit?
thanks

Is your bike a 500 or 250?? I believe a friend of mine told me the Z-400 a-arms would mount onto an 88 and up lt500 frame. May measure a set and see, if yours is a 500 it just might work good.

88Qracer, i just bolted up some 400ex shocks to mine, but have noticed the whole front end sits about what seems to be about 3-4 inches higher...i dont like that at all because it seems like it would tip alot easier. I do like how plush it is though. Also on the tie rods, i have them adjusted allll the way out right now tryin to get hte wheels straigh. what exactly did you do about the tie rods and alignment?

Sorry took me so long to get back, was out of town.
I ended up ditching the stock set of tie rods all together.
I bought a pair ooff ebay, sorry i dont remember the brand, but there chrome, with heim joint ends.
I was able to adjust the toe on with thread to spair.
Also as far as ride height, the 400 ex shocks do have a certain amount of adjustability, the only time i notice a differnet height is when the quad has no rider weight on it, then it seems to settle back down just fine to me.

I just got some YFZ shocks to try on my LT250R, havent been able to put them on yet. Have to trim the top mount of the shock but thats all it should be. I will let you know how they work out.

when i originally put the 400 shocks on, i was able to get the slignment close, not perfect but close with the original tie rods.
I say original, because they were on there when I bought it, but on a 1988 machine, god only knows what is actually original
