219 lbs! That would be insanely light. The LT80 quadsport weighs 220. I have all the old original brochures that list the zilla at 392. They never updated the weight either after the original '87 models. IMO, the 88-90 models probably weighed a few pounds less due to the much lighter upper a-arms and spindles.
The lightest full size race quad ever was the original '85 and '86 LT250R. Their claimed dry weight was 293 lbs which is the exact weight of the '85 Honda 250R three wheeler! The Yamaha Tri-Z actually weighed more than the 85 & 86 quadracers. I believe the lightest full size racing three wheeler ever was the Tiger 250 which did weigh in around 220 if that's what you were thinking about. (I could be wrong about the Tiger)

The zilla have a hell of a lot of power they pull off fast and still seems like they could pull another gear in fifth, as for handlintg the zilla doesn't seem as fast when you'r on on it as when you look at it been rode, and I really like the handel bar position it seems to give you plently of control. Overall they zila is a nice enough quad. I never rode a lt250 so I can't comment.

hah My bad I meant 319 pounds I agree the I like the handlebar position on the zilla I think its a pretty comfortable ride. Ive ridden a 250 but it was when is was in like 4th grade so i cant really give you a real opinion of it compared to the zilla.
