First wrecks....

My 1st wreck was waaaay back in 1987. I rode into the backyard at a buddies house on my Lt250 and before I knew what happened I woke up in the hospital.
Seems that I came thru the yard where they just put up a new dog run. The dog got excited and tried to jump up into my lap as I was riding by.
Instead, his runner caught me right across the throat and yanked me off the racer and I landed right on my head..helmet split and all.
Ended up with a HUGE concussion, whiplash and a face full of doggie drool as he decided to lick my face as soon as I hit the ground.
The racer ended up across the street, in a ditch..completly worthless.

Mine first was back in like 95' on a three wheeler going to fast up a straight up and down mud hill haha but my worst was about 6 months ago when I rolled my Bomb Outlander Max...yea like 650lbs pinned me and a friend to a tree...thats what happens when you dont take the power of a quad seriously...put it in low and when over a tree...it slingshotted me down a hill rolling 3 times and finally pinnin us...but all that happened to the quad was a broken mirror and the plastic got a little banged up...firned got knocked out and I got a bunch a sprained stuff...wrist..ankle...ouch...

my first wreck was last summer when i was driving the kodiak (my dads bike) and there was a little "cliff" kind of a thing that was about 3 feet high and i figure i would make it up because i was kinda showing off for my brothers so i went up it in 2nd wide open (stupidest thing i've ever done) and the front went right up and back on top of my so i let go of the handle bars and the bike rolled over me my breath was knocked out and after i got up all i can see was the kodiak rolling down the hill i wasn't that hurt just lil bruses and a broken finger and alot of scratches on the bike but nothing major except my dad didn't like me go fourwheeling for 2 months which really sucked but i guess i diserved it

Worst crash was on my CR125... Happened on the last lap of the riding day. A friend and myself were riding a local track. there was a double/double/double section... followed by a 90degree left uphill turn. For some reason I decide to go thru this section in 2nd gear, rather then 3rd as I had been doing all day.... I wanted to overjump the last double slightly, rather then clipping the top of the jump (which was actually better because it was helping me scrub speed for the turn)....
Double 1 & 2 were perfect.. once I hit #3 I knew I was going way to fast. Looking down I could see my normal land spot go by. I over jumped this jump by at least 10ft... I landed out on the flat.. when I landed I collasped and pinned the throttle wide open. I hit the turns berm wide open and launched myself into the sky....
I woke up on the ground with a shattered right wrist/broken collarbone and pulled groin muscle. I still dont remeber anything after the last jump.

Well, I have never had a wreck, But... ive screwed up a few times. First, i get careless with nuts and bolts and alot of the time i strip them. About a week or 2 ago, I was out riding and saw all of these kids and I knew a few. There was this kid who was pretty sick at riding, had a raptor, and so I let him take My 05 z for a spin. This kid was like 2 yrs older and he started beating on it and showing off. Not like crashing it but using high rpms and then he was doing a donut, and then to a wheelie, and then the whole quad went over. He bent my front rim and since they were stock, I had to buy 2 new rims. If i had lost my temper, I would have taken the skinny little stoner and beat the ever living $hit out of him. I was afraid to do it though because this kid is pretty bad, he'll like set my house on fire or something. That was my wreck, this little retard had no care for my quad or me whatsoever and that is where I wrecked. So a lesson, dont let anyone ride your quad, even if they are "Good" This kid could amase me but not without trashing the quad so I dont call him good and take that back. I felt dumb walked over and like a pushover since he didnt but me new ones.

My first wreck was to long ago to remember but I do have a new wreck on my new to me Z400. I had a well built 426EX with holeshots on the back in it was a hill climbing machine. I got this Z400 it is completely stock and I put some Kenda Claw XC's on the back. While we were at Little Egypt Off Road Park it was kind of muddy and on a hill I could have climbed easily on the EX the Z was struggling a little. I wasn’t carrying enough speed do to a huge mud puddle at the base of the hill and having to lean forward to keep the front wheels on the ground the Kendas lost traction. I leaned back a little to help and the front end came up at the same time the backs caught traction and the quad shot up the hill without me on it. After it lost momentum and it came back at me but went off to the side. I had an audience of about 20 of my riding friends and lucky for me most had utilities and they winched the quad up the hill. Only thing that happened was the front brake reservoir started leaking and I lost front brakes. I took it back to the trailer cleaned the fitting refilled the fluid and all was good. Then when I got home I ordered another set of tires Holeshot HD's, the kendas will do fine as backups.
