Is this forum dead or what? I haven't heard from you diehard Suzuki men(or women) in quite some time.

Anyways, i checked the suzuki webpage, no new atv's this year(lt400). Only new thing i seen was a DR250, sounds like the bike for me!!!

Hey RMX251. I have always had Suzuki's, and some other brands as well. I really don't know why the Suzuki's aren't more popular. I think the 500 QuadRunner and QuadMaster are two of the best buys out there. Some of the reviews aren't real favorable to the Suzuki's, but those guys aren't riding with me. There are some bikes faster (ie, Grizzly), but it never fails that when the going gets tough, my Suzuki always does well. And this is the truth; I have talked to two different dealers who told me (and sold other makes) that if they were buying a new bike it would be the 500 Suzuki (one did give me anothe option, but I don't remember what it was; Polaris something I think). Anyway, I think they make one heck of a bike. Just compare features. 2wd/4wd selectable, semi-independent rear suspension, water cooled, price, weight, turning raduis, and reliability. Other brands will have you pay $7000 for a bike with brum brakes, air cooled and full time 4wd. Don't get me wrong, they are all good brands because I have owned most (Jap anyway), but Suzuki is right there with the best of them. I can't figure out why, though, that they won't put all of the good features on one bike. For example, why don't the 500's have a locking from diff.?????

I should hope that Suzuki is not going to make a run at the six wheel drive unit in the near future. I have a few things I'd like to change on my '99 KQ. The quad should handle safer and better after adding the features, Eric B. introduced. I don't think a six wheel monster is the answer. (You were kidding, of course!)
Chuck, Suzuki KQ 300, GPS & lunch...

Actually, I thought that the 1000cc engine would spark your interest more than the 6x6, but I guess there is an application for everything, thats why they build them.
