Default Meeting w/Factory Reps about KingQuad

Having owned a King Quad since they first came out and reading the various posts on different boards, the number one most needed item is to fix the low end lag caused by the timing being retarded. I can understand them doing that for safety reasons for the masses but why not offer a race ECM which would correct the issue? They already did all the R&D and know exactly how to fix the issue since some of the pre production models had various versions of the ECM for testing that would wheelie to no end. This is a huge untapped market and if they were able to skirt liability by making them "for race only" or something on that order, they could make a bundle of money since their product would be most likely better than the add on modules currectly being worked on. Somebody somewhere will eventually figure this out but since they have all of the needed info and capability to do so already completed, why not offer the product for the ones that would like to tap our motor's potential?

My second vote is for the manual tranny. That is also an untapped market that they could own. Rumors were abound last year that it was in the works. Guess they were just that, rumors.

Ask them why they built a 700, only to detune it so much, override suxs, and why the fan runs so much.

I'm glad I'm not the only one noticing all the quirks with the KQ. Is anyone else thinking of trading in on something else?lol

Stiffer front springs, wider front end. Better tires.
