Hey guys I just bought a 05' Z-400 yesterday and got a great deal on it. right now many dealers are trying to get rid of their 05' inventory to make room for the new 06' models that are coming in mid July. my dealer said the only difference he was told was the color scheme was going to be blue seats on yellow bike with different type of stripes that was to best of his knowledge. buy an 05' and save up to 400 to 500 dollars.

 

I've got an 05 that is about 2 weeks old it is white with the blue frame and I'm extremely happy. I've heard the same thing on the color of the 06's. So if I was shopping I'd take the deal and run. Who wants to wait that long for a different color seat?

 

well if you don't like the suzuki color theres always the kaw kfx colors too.but that will be no more for the kfx after 2007 .kaw will not have the kfx after then

 

The price goes up $100 every year...not much of a difference if any each year, just higher because it's "newer"

If you don't like the color, then like blackbird said, buy a KFX, otherwise, you can buy new plastics and have a sweet custom color...

 

I had put this on another post, but I will tell you also. I bought a new 05' Z-400 yesterday. Its white with blue frame and seats. Its a good looking bike in my opinion. I was able to get a very good deal from the dealer because he was trying to get rid of all his 05' inventory to make room for the new 06' bikes. He told to best of his knowledge the only change would be the year,price, and color change for the yellow to have a blue seat. Everyting else is to remain the same to his knowledge. If you want to get a Z-400 get one now while you can get a deal. Most dealers hate having old inventory. I was able to get the bike for $500 cheaper . that my two cents[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

1987 called and they want their colors back........... I dont think I am a fan of the blue seat with the yellow plastics. I do think it would a little better if the shocks matched, but hey i dont work for suzuki. The white one looks sharp.

 

lol, good point. We might buy another 05' because those 06' yellows are horrid [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img] Yellow+Blue+2006=BAD
